Quality Management –quality control processes
1. Incoming Quality Control(IQC): is the primary control point to prevent unqualified material into production.
① Incoming inspection items and methods:
a) Appearance: usually inspect by visual, touching, and comparing with qualified samples.
b) Dimensions: usually inspect by measuring tools such as caliper, micrometer, and etc.
c) Characteristics: such as its physical, chemical, mechanical characteristics generally inspect by testing instruments and some special methods.
② Incoming inspection way:
a)full-inspection
b)sampling inspection
③ Treatments of inspection.:
a) Accept
b) Reject(return)
c) Accept by Concession
d) Fully-inspection(to select the unqualified goods and return)
e) Inspect again after reworking
④ incoming standard: “Raw Material and Out Sourcing Technical standards”, “Incoming Inspection and Test Control procedures”, “The Physical and Chemical Inspection Procedures”, and etc.
2. Input Process Quality Control(IPQC):Generally means the quality control to every process from material acceptance to end products finished and finally access to the warehouse. (In Process Quality Control), but relative to the inspection of this stage we usually say FQC (Final Quality Control).
① Mainly inspection methods:
Combine self-inspection, mutual inspection and special inspection for the first product
b) Combine processes control and sampling and in-process inspection
c) Mess together several procedures and do inspection
d) Inspect every procedure one by one
e) Inspect product after it is finished
f) Combine sampling and fully-inspection
② Input Process Quality Control(IPQC):do inspection in producing processes.
Inspect the first product;
b) Check the materials;
c) In-process inspection: ensure proper inspection time and frequency, inspect products strictly according to the inspection standards or work instructions, including the inspections to product quality, process planning, machine operation parameters, putting of material, marking, environment, and etc.
d) Record the inspection records honestly.
③ Final Quality Control(FQC):is aimed at the quality of the finished product validation to make sure the products can flow into the next procedure, is a fixed-point inspection or acceptance.
a) Inspect items: appearance, dimensions, physical characteristics, and etc.
b) Inspect method: generally use sampling inspection
c) Treatment to unqualified products;
d) Record;
④ Standards: “Operation Instructions”, “Procedure Inspection Standards”, “Process Inspection and Testing Procedures”, and etc.
3. Outgoing Quality Control (O Q.C): Inspection before delivery.
4. Abnormal Quality Feedback and Processing
① can decide by its own: inform the operator or the reference department directly to rework immediately.
② can’t decide: check with manager and inform the reference department the result to do correction or treatment.
③ Record problems honestly
④confirm correct or improvement measures, and track processing effect
⑤ clearly mark the inspections to semi-finished products and finished products and supervise the relevant departments to store the goods in isolation
5. Quality Records:To provide evidences for the finished inspections and results.
a) Should be accurate, timely, clear, complete, and sealed or signature
b) Should also be Sorting and filing records in time and stored in a suitable environment
